Break-In Oil for Aviation Engines
Aeroshell Oil 100 is a pure mineral oil primarily used during the break-in of most certified four-stroke aviation piston engines. This oil is blended from selected high viscosity index base stocks and contains pour point depressants to improve fluidity at low temperatures. It also provides the following benefits:

Applications

Certified four-stroke aircraft reciprocating piston engines when the use of an ashless dispersant (AD) oil is not required.

Used for the break-in of most certified four-stroke aviation piston engines. Break-in duration and lubrication requirements may vary, so aircraft owners should consult the original engine manufacturer and/or overhaul facility for specific recommendations.

Vintage aircraft operating with very low oil temperatures or aircraft that have previously run exclusively on mineral oil for an extended period of time.
